Senior police officer Superintendent George Asare appeared before parliament after being cited in the leaked tape recorded by Daniel Bugri Naabu, a former Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Together with COP George Alex Mensah and Superintendent Emmanuel Gyebi, the three have been implicated in the audio purported to capture plans to remove IGP Dr George Akuffo Dampare.
COP George Alex Mensah and Superintendent Emmanuel Gyebi faced parliament last week, and it is now the turn of Superintendent Asare.
They were invited to face the ad-hoc committee constituted by the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, to probe the matter.
