Senior police officers COP George Alex Mensah, Superintendent Asare, and Superintendent Emmanuel Gyebi appeared before parliament after being cited in the leaked tape recorded by Daniel Bugri Naabu, a former Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
They have been implicated in the audio purported to capture their plans to remove IGP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare.
They were invited to face an ad-hoc committee constituted by the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, to probe the matter.
