Tunisian referee to officiate Black Queens Olympic Games qualifier against Benin

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has selected Chouchane Asma of Tunisia to officiate Ghana’s match versus Benin in the Paris 2024 qualifying Women’s Olympic Football Tournament.

Compatriots Afine Houda, Assistant 1, and Ouertatani Nesrine, Assistant 2, will assist her; Ajbouni Emna will be the fourth official.

Amegee Aissata Ameyo will act as the referee assessor, and Dzodope Ayawa Mana Mawoufemo from Togo will also function as the match commissioner.

Ghana went through to the next round of the Paris 2024 Olympic qualifiers after posting a 4-0 win over Guinea at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Evelyn Badu found the back of the net for the opener in the 36th minute after a solo run.

Priscilla Adubea increased the tally in the 52nd minute with a calm finish.

Badu grabbed her second of the afternoon through a rebound inside 65 minutes to give Ghana a 3-nil lead.

Substitute Fridaus Yakubu made it 4 in the 85th minute after connecting delicious pass from Princella Adubea from the right wing.

The Black Queens qualified on a 7-0 aggregate having won the 1st leg 3-0 in Conakry.

The match will be played at Cotonou’s Stade de l’Amitié – Général Mathieu Kerekou on October 27.
