The Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) has introduced a new award category: Best Urban/Contemporary Gospel Song.
This category recognizes the most popular gospel song that seamlessly blends contemporary genres like R&B, hip-hop, and pop with traditional gospel elements.
To qualify, the song must:
- Have been commercially released within the year under review.
- Have garnered significant public excitement and widespread popularity.
- Be performed by a gospel artiste.
The winner will be determined by a combination of votes from the TGMA Academy, the Board, and the general public.
