Stop treating Ga’s like we are not Ghanaians– Jupitar

Ghanaian Reggae/ dancehall musician Michael Okine better known as Jupitar has bemoaned the lack of support for some musicians in Ghana as a result of their tribal background.

According to the musician, celebrities, especially musicians who come from the GA tribe, hardly get the needed support from industry players.

In a twitter post, he stated that “this whole industry is a set up and if you be ‘Ga’ like myself, @shattawalegh, @iamkingpromise or @dkbghana etc certain kinda support you go suffer or you no go get kraa no matter the effort.”

Subsequently, Jupitar highlighted that the media has been mute over his music career as he had clocked some major achievements in 2022 that needed to be acknowledged but were not.

He further stated that people refer to him as a lazy musician but do not patronise or support his craft.

Reacting to Jupitar’s claims, some fans shared varied thoughts on the musicians comments.
