Reggae dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has assured the public, especially his fans who will be attending the 2023 BHIM Concert, that there will be top-notch security at the Accra Sports Stadium on December 22, 2023.
He added that nobody is trying to sabotage anyone in relation to the upcoming concert. Therefore, individuals who want to attend the event should do so without fear.
“I want to assure all my people that security will be topnotch, very top… topnotch at the venue and with the likes of our able IGP, you can’t go wrong. You know, and I believe that he is like a father to me and like a father to all, and we think about the people, so there will be tight security to ensure that everyone is protected,” Stonebwoy noted in an interview with 3Music monitored by The Ghana Report.
In a related development, Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has expressed disappointment with Stonebwoy for holding his annual Bhim Concert at the same venue he[Shatta Wale] and Medikal have decided to host their annual Freedom Wave Festival.
Shatta Wale and Midikal have planned to host their show at the Accra Sports Stadium on December 25.
In a Facebook Live video on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, Shatta Wale alleged that the authorities of the stadium had been influenced by external forces to allow his arch-rival Stonebwoy to hold his Bhim Concert three days before him.
In another video, Shatta Wale threatened to slap Stonebwoy if they met anywhere.
“Don’t make me see you eye to eye. I don’t want to meet you anywhere in your life. If you see me, pass, because if you try to smile at me, I’ll slap you. I’ll break your leg”.
He added: “When you brought out the gun, nobody warned and talked sense into your brain.”
“You are using your disability to seek empathy, but I don’t see you like that. I see you are a hard guy”.
