*Secrets you must not share*
1. A boss must not announce a special dispensation for a particular staff in the presence of colleagues. Once upon a time, this happened, and a proposed trip for the beneficiary staff got botched on the day of the trip. The airline to take him overseas started strike action on D-day. This point could be attended by controversy as the workplace demands openness. The emphasis on secrecy here is on the initial announcement. Say it to the beneficiary alone, not in the presence of others.
2. A courtship to marriage that was kept from public knowledge succeeded. Both the man and the lady kept it secret from their families too. In the end, their intentions materialized. It might not have conformed to past customs where things were opened up to the couple’s families, which then investigated backgrounds towards the peaceful consummation of the marriage, but this modern-day secrecy helped the man to succeed for the first time after publicly-known previous relationships hit the rocks. Couples who are convinced about each other, as having met their soulmates, succeed within the confidential context.
3. When you hit the secret jackpot, do not confide in anyone about the advantage, let alone your expenditure plans. Jealousy and envy are innate to mankind and your fortunes will stir up negative traits in people. If you give yourself to people, they will divert or deflect you from your chosen course to the one which will prove unprofitable and send you to your knees.
4. An invitation by a country’s presidential candidate saw the young man telling his siblings. They quickly discouraged him from responding to the invitation. Later, when the politician actually became the president, he did not remember the young man, and neither could the young man visit him of his own volition. It was now spilled milk. He was facing severe hardships but couldn’t face the shame of suddenly going to the one who had the capacity to radically pull him from the abyss.
5. Do not share your future plans or dreams with people. In the Bible, Joseph made this mistake and paid a dear price. But the fact that he was divinely ordained, Joseph might not have been able to collect and put the pieces together. The onslaught on his destiny by his brothers was brutal, direct, and destructive.
6. The story is told of a man who was audibly heard telling a colleague in the office, that strange accidents that visited his car suddenly stopped upon changing the car’s color. It did appear as though he was challenging the forces of evil which now had to prove to the man that they went on break as far as his case was concerned. His comments were made, next day his car was involved in another accident under very strange circumstances. A car that had been parked, suddenly made a U-turn in front of his moving car and the latest accident happened.
7. It is not compulsory and you are under no obligation to run public commentary on your children. Do not open them up to people, regarding their talents and the strides they are making. They become pawns to the devil, which then fights hard to overturn their destinies. It is for a reason that is why even some Heads of State and high-ranking officials keep their children from the public eye. They themselves make all the headlines but never allow their children to be drawn to that realm. At times, a given hatred at you may be directed at your children. As much as possible, keep them away.
8. An unofficial oath of secrecy that appeals to conscience is the use of responsible discretion when we are lucky to have VVIPs confide in us. Note that information shared with you behind the scenes is strictly based on trust and for only your consumption. If the personality wanted it in the public domain, that would have happened long ago, ahead of your conversation. It is out of a given respect that a VVIP shares confidentiality with you, so maintain that respect by keeping the information under wraps, as anything opposite can potentially drive away other important personalities in the belief you can’t keep secrets.
