The Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, has tied the knot in a private ceremony today, December 21, 2022.
It will be recalled that Sammy Gyamfi in an earlier interview said he will get married in 2021 after the victory of the party in the December 2020 election.
He termed the wedding as a victory wedding as he had hoped the NDC would have won the December 2020 elections.
But his hopes were dashed and so were his marriage plans.
However, beautiful pictures of the politician with his long-time girlfriend Irene Konadu Amankwa at their traditional marriage flooded the internet on Wednesday.
Information gathered suggests the marriage was earlier scheduled to take place in late September but was postponed because of the NDC’s National Delegates’ Congress.
The latest couple in town was beaming as they took their vows in front of family, friends and some NDC stalwarts.
Former President John Dramani Mahama and his running mate Professor Nana Jane Opoku Agyemang; former Chief of Staff, Valerie Sawyerr; former NDC National Chairman, Samuel Ofusu Ampofo; NDC National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah; and astute lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata were among the notable personalities at the event.
