The Ghana Police Service has refuted claims that it boycotted the one-year commemorative durbar of Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election held by the National Democratic Congress.
Contrary to an internal memo allegedly issued by the police administration warning all its officers not to provide security at the event, the services says, ‘there were security arrangement to ward off criminal elements who may take advantage to foment trouble’.
