President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has pleaded with Christians and all religious leaders to remember him and the country in constant prayers to overcome the current economic challenges.

The President used the opportunity to admonish all believers in the country not to allow their struggles to take the better part of them but rather build their hopes above their fears with the spirit of resilience to help Ghana become a better place.

“Let me in conclusion plead strongly with the church to bear the nation and me continually up in prayers. As God’s children, we may be tempted to allow our struggles to define our worth.

“However, our ultimate victory is guaranteed. We may stumble along the way but we will always as Romans 8 says be more than conquerors. And as the Archbishop Emeritus the member of the Council of State never ceases to remind me the battle is the Lord’s,” he stated.
