Reality TV star Josephina Otabor, known as Phyna, has recently expressed her concern about receiving numerous death threats.
These threats began after she criticized superstar singer Davido. According to The Nation, Phyna had brought Davido’s attention to a post that criticized her fans, which he had liked.
Davido promptly issued an apology, but he also mentioned that he was unaware of Phyna’s identity. This response from the new father of twins prompted fans of both Phyna and Davido to engage in heated online debates as they defended their respective favourites.
In response to the escalating situation, Phyna appealed to online users not to threaten her life, emphasizing that she is not an artist.
Her tweet reads as follows: “I have been receiving death threats, and I want to clarify that I am not an artist. Please, spare my life. Everyone should stay in their lane. Only God can judge.”
