The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has extended warm wishes to all Muslims in Ghana and across the globe on the commencement of the Ramadan fast.
In a statement signed by the party’s national chairman, Stephen Ayesu Ntim, today, March 13, 2024, all Muslims were urged to wholeheartedly embrace the spiritual exercise of Ramadan.
The Party also called on Muslims to dedicate themselves to fervent prayers to Allah for His Benevolence upon Ghana and to invoke divine guidance for a peaceful and transparent general election.
” On the occasion of the commencement of the Ramadan Fast, the New Patriotic Party extends its warmest wishes to all Muslims in Ghana and across the globe. Ramadan, a sacred period within the Islamic calendar, is observed by Muslims worldwide through fasting under the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and the principles of the Islamic faith.”
“Ramadan holds profound significance as the month when the Holy Qur’an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), making it the most revered time of the year for Muslims. Through fasting, believers experience hunger and thirst, fostering empathy for those who endure scarcity every day and engage in acts of charity to fully embrace the abundant blessings of this sacred faith.
