Enough food, water in Mawuli School – Headmaster

Story By: Graphic Online

The Headmaster of Mawuli School, Ho, Mr Jonathan Gustav Adomah has discounted social media speculation that there was a food and water shortage on campus.

He said there was a stockpile of food for the 2,711 students in school and they never go hungry at any time as alleged by the social media report, which he described as totally false and malicious.

According to Mr Adomah, the false report was first carried out on social media in 2014 and baselessly repeated a few days ago.

“Even today we have been supplied by the food items in abundance under the School Feeding Programme,” he told the Graphic Online in an interview in his office on Thursday.

He added that the campus had 11 mechanized boreholes so there was always enough water at the school.

Out of the number, he said the school relied on five boreholes to provide water to the students.

Meanwhile, he said, life was normal at the school, adding that teaching and learning were taking place smoothly.

Further, he said the problem of bed bugs was also now a thing of the past.

He said after classes the students took part in various recreational activities, including football and basketball with enthusiasm because none of them were hungry or thirsty.

Mr Adomah entreated the public to treat the social media report with contempt since there was no truth in it.
