NGO donates to deprive school in the Central Region

To bridge the gap between quality education and access to educational resources, a non-governmental organisation, Edufirst Foundation, has donated educational materials to the Breman Benin Catholic Basic School.

The items included books, pencils, pens and other educational materials.

Businessman and founder of Edufirst Foundation, Robert Annan-Dugan, said his interest in helping schools in deprived communities sterns from his childhood struggles.

“ I was raised by a single mother in Breman Benin in the Central Region, and I remember the struggle for basic school items, but I didn’t relent. I held on to my dreams and told myself to help others,” he explained.

Admitting the vast gap between quality education and educational resources in the country, he described it as heartbreaking.
