NDC shoots down Airbus bribery allegations

The National Democratic Congress has denied allegations that Airplane manufacturer, Airbus SE,  paid bribes during the President John Evans Atta Mills and John Dramani Mahama administration to sell its Airbus C-295 military aircraft to Ghana.

The party in a statement signed and issued by former Attorney General and Minister of Justice  in the Mahama administration, Mrs Marietta Brew Appiah-Oppong, described the media reports, that put another spotlight on graft in public procurement in Ghana as “false, misleading and do not reflect the Approved Judgment.”
