My opponent determines my style of play – Coach Otto Addo

The head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana, Otto Addo has disclosed that he changes his style depending on the opponent his team faces.

The German-trained tactician will be chasing his first win as the head coach of the Black Stars when his team takes on Madagascar in the qualifiers to the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament today.

Addressing the press on Tuesday evening, Coach Otto Addo revealed that he has a lot of styles.

He said depending on the opponent, he tries to adapt by using one that suits the opponent to ensure he secures the desired result.

“I adapt to the opponent, I take a close look at the strengths and weaknesses of the opponent, and based on that I play a system so it’s flexible. I have many styles,” Coach Otto Addo told journalists.

Ghana will this evening host Madagascar at the Cape Coast Stadium in the first game of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.

After today’s game, the Black Stars will travel to Angola where the team will take on the Central African Republic in their next fixture of the qualifiers in four days time.
