US-based Ghanaian actor and comedian, Michael Blackson has revealed that he plans to shoot his next movie in Ghana.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Nhyira-Addo, popularly known as Blackson, called for the establishment of a film studio in Ghana.
“The future is looking good for Ghana,” the Ghanaian-Liberian actor said. “We need to set it up so people can come and do something; we need a film studio.”
“When the ‘Next Friday’ movie came out, that is what made me [a] superstar. The Next Friday was one of the best comic urban movies of all time.
“My next movie, which I am about to shoot, I will shoot in Ghana. The future is exciting here,” the actor said.
