Head coach of the Black Meteors, Ibrahim Tanko has announced a provision squad for the U23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, scheduled to take place in June.
Coach Tanko named a 22-man squad to commence a training camp as part of preparation towards the upcoming tournament.
The selected players who were drawn from the Ghana Premier League and other lower-tier clubs are expected to report at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence in Prampram later today.
Coach Tanko is expected to draft some of the foreign-based players broad into his squad for the U23 AFCON when the 2022/23 football season in Europe ends.

Black Meteors have been drawn in Group A alongside Guinea, Congo and the host Morrocco.
Not only will the Ghanaian side be hoping to win the tournament but also to book a ticket to the next Olympic games as the competition serves as a qualifier.
The top three teams from the U-23 AFCON will secure a spot at the prestigious event which will be held in Paris, France.
