Nana Agyemang Badu Duah, the husband of veteran actress Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu has threatened to sue movie production manager Kwame Borga for making false allegations about Ghanaian actresses.
Kwame Borga in a general statement disclosed that due to the ineffectiveness of the Ghana Movie Industry, Ghanaian female actresses have resorted to hookups.
This statement unsettled and miffed the husband of actress Mercy Asiedu, calling the statement defamatory.
The royal family has called on the production manager to retract the comment and apologize to Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu.
Meanwhile, Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu has addressed Kwame Borga as someone who is inexperienced, and making such a comment shows his status in the entertainment industry.
Nonetheless, the veteran actress called him to render a public apology to all actresses in Ghana.
In defending himself, Kwame Borga also said he wasn’t tagging Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu but it was just a general comment he made but didn’t know Nana Agyemang Badu Duah and the wife will take it personally.
He went on to say that his senior colleague was angered by his claims because she might have joined the hookup business at a point in her life.
This led to an online banter and Oheneyere’s husband called on him to render an official apology to the wife.
He called into a show where Kwame Borga made the submission and threatened legal action if he failed to retract and apologize.
