A head-on train collision at Wassa Manso in the Western Region has resulted in the death of many people.
The incident happened on Saturday morning around 2 am.
The two trains were moving from opposite directions on the Tarkwa-Kojokrom route.
According to reports even though the number of casualties cannot immediately be determined, many are believed to have lost their lives in the unfortunate incident.
Meanwhile, personnels of the Fire Service and the Ghana Police are at the scene on a rescue mission.
