Three people, including a one-year-old, are reported seriously injured in an accident today involving a commercial Toyota Hiace with registration number AS 4424 22, journeying from Tarkwa to Kumasi, and a taxi.
It is reported that the taxi ran into the trotro, causing the driver to lose control of the steering wheel at Kwapia, a town between Akrokerri Junction and Kyekyewere in the Ashanti Region.
The trotro is reported to have had about 12 passengers.
It is reported that three persons, including a one-year-old, were seriously injured.
Personnel from the Ghana police made their way to the scene and helped to convey the injured persons to the hospital for medical attention.
