A level 200 male Industrial Art student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has been confirmed dead after falling from the fourth floor of Ultimate hostel, formerly [Evandy – Bomso].
The sad incident happened when he made an attempt to move from a balcony to the next on Friday.
It took the benevolence of a commercial vehicle driver to get him to the KNUST Hospital after several drivers refused to come to his aid.
According to the KNUST management, the student died instantly after falling.
The University’s relations officer Dr Norris Bekoe told GHone News, Ashanti regional correspondent Isaac Justice Bediako that the family of the deceased has been informed about the incident.
He added’ the family delegation are expected to be on campus today to meet management so we can take them to the unfortunate scene”.
Meanwhile, two students who were in the room with the deceased have been pick up by the police to assist in the investigation.
