Jordan Ayew is concerned about goal drought – Solar Ayew

Solar Ayew, uncle of Jordan Ayew has disclosed the Crystal Palace forward is concerned about his goal drought.

The 28-year-old has endured a difficult time in the Premier League for the past two seasons having scored only once across both seasons.

He is yet to find the back of the net after 6 matches into the 2021/22 Premier League season.

Speaking to Class FM, Solar Ayew expressed optimism about the Ghanaian forward finding his goal scoring boots.

“Definitely, when you are a professional player of Jordan Ayew’s calibre, you will always express concern with the goal drought and with the heights he has reached in professional football, it is a concern for him,”

“With the family and his fans also supporting him, when things aren’t going well, there’s pressure on him to perform”, Sola Ayew added.

Jordan Ayew is part of the Black Stars squad that will play Zimbabwe in the doubleheader World Cup qualifiers this month.
