Israel’s war on Gaza: Tel Aviv protests call for captives immediate return after 100 days

Story By: Aljazeera

Another Saturday with tens of thousands of Israelis gathered again but this time, to mark almost 100 days since the captives have been held in the Gaza Strip.

There are 136 remaining captives and those that have been taking to the stage here in Tel Aviv have been calling for their immediate return.

One family member has thanked the Qataris. They said that the Qataris were on board and doing everything they can to bring back those captives and they also thanked them for delivering the medicine that will be delivered to those held captive, through the Red Cross.

Interestingly, just behind them is where Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had been speaking earlier, saying that the priority for him is to bring the captives back but this isn’t quite what was said from those here at this protest.

Some of the people on the stage were actually calling on Netanyahu and on the government to say, “What are you doing?”

One said: “Do you want us to wait for 100 more days?”
