Accra Hearts of Oak have announced a 26-man squad list for their 2021/22 season’s campaign with the exclusion of some notable players including Gladson Awako who joined the club a few months ago from Great Olympics.
The 26-man squad list of the Phobians also excluded some surprising names like Abdul Umar Manaf, Enock Asubonteng, Seidu Suraj and Nurudeen Abdul Aziz as the team embark on a mission to retain the league title.
However, the squad included new signings like defensive midfielder Ushau Abu, Benjamin Yorke, Yaw Amankwah Baafi, Isaac Agyenim Boateng and Salim Adams.
The reigning champions will begin their title defense in a crunchy fixture against Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
