The Ghana Premier League clash between King Faisal and Ebusua Dwarfs has been rescheduled following a heavy downpour at the Ohene Ameyaw Park.
The officials called off the game after a thorough inspection proved the soggy nature pitch could not host the league fixture.
Per the rules of the game, the fixture has been scheduled to Sunday, July 11 at the same venue at 9 AM.
Two survival chasing sides King Faisal FC and Ebusua Dwarfs were to clash in a win or bust match yesterday as the Ghana Premier League draws to a close.
King Faisal who lie 16th and have 37 points need a win on Sunday to get closer to safety, while Dwarfs currently on 38 points need same result to be totally free from demotion.
King Faisal have won 3 of their last 5 home matches (L1 D1), scoring in all but one of those games.
Their overall form reveals 2 wins and 2 draws in the last 5 games with their last defeat coming in an away trip to Berekum Chelsea.
They have scored in all but 1 of the 5 games, while keeping 2 clean sheets in the process.
Ebusua Dwarfs on the other hand are the second most in-form side in the league aside league leaders Accra Hearts of Oak, having picked 10 points in their last 5 games (W3, D1, L1). While doing this, they have scored 7 and conceded 3 goals.
This sets up the tie to be exciting as both teams have shown the knack for playing offensive football when need be.
