The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has directed a 3 pm kick-off time for this weekend’s Ghana Premier League week 33 fixtures at the various match venues.
However, the match between Asante Kotoko vs Elmina Sharks which will be hosted at the Baba Yara Stadium, will be played at 6 pm as the GFA is planning to officially crown the Porcupine Warriors as champions of the 2021/22 league season.
They are league winners with three matches to spare after their 1-1 draw against Ashanti Gold last Thursday at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium.
As part of the measures outlined, officials of the GFA will be at the Baba Yara Stadium to present the GPL trophy and medals to the players and technical staff of the club.
The officials are also expected to present the prize money for winning the league to the club.
Kotoko’s win makes it their 25th league title.
