Ghana international Kudus Mohammed close to joining Everton

Ghana international Kudus Mohammed is on the verge of joining English Premier League side, Everton, according to media reports.

The Black Stars midfielder has been struggling for regular playing time at Ajax despite having a good preseason with the Dutch giants.

He has played less than 10 minutes for Ajax this season and recently suggested that he is unhappy at the Dutch giants.

However, Kudus, who joined Ajax from Nordsjaelland is said to be interested in a move away from the club in search of playing time due to the 2022 World Cup.

Kudus wants to play an integral role for the Black Stars at the biggest soccer Mundial later this year.

Footballghana.com has learnt Frank Lampard’s side are in search of more forward firepower in the aftermath of Richarlison’s departure and Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s injury.

It is said Everton are in advanced talk to sign the enterprising midfielder from Ajax.

Everton have had a poor start to the Premier League season, losing their first two games against Chelsea and Aston Villa.
