The people of Newtown in Accra always suspected Suweiba Seidu of being a lesbian, even though no one had any evidence to that effect.
This was the case until her fiancé, Sani Mohammed caught her in bed with another lady a few days ago.
“Sani had always refused to believe that his fiancée was bisexual,” said Mallam Ayuba, who described himself as Suweiba’s uncle.
“Suweiba had always been a bisexual, since her days in SHS (Senior High School). There are pictures of her in uncompromising situations with other girls. I will show you copies if you want.
Those days she would dress and behave like a tomboy. It was glaring, but no one had any evidence until this incident,” the witness stressed.
“Now that it is public knowledge, we the family have to find her and do what we must. We cannot bear this shame without acting,” he added.
When questioned as to what they intend to do with Suweiba when they find her, he quipped, “I cannot tell you that.
When the time comes, you will know.”
Attempts to speak to Sani on what really transpired proved futile, as he was yet to overcome the shock of his discovery.
