Ghanaian musician, Fameye, has released a new single titled ‘Questions’, which talks about the short lifespan of man on earth and the next world promised for humanity after death.
The song was released on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, barely a week after Ghanaian footballer Christian Atsu was pronounced dead after his body was pulled from rubbles caused by earthquakes in Turkey.
Fameye reacted to the news, indicating that Atsu’s death was premature and affected emotionally due to the benevolence of the ex-Black Stars player.
Fameye seems to have channelled the pain into the studio to pen his thought on death.
The song seems to be generating social media buzz after its release, with most comments resonating with the lyrics of the track.
When translated from Twi to the English language, portions of the lyrics suggest, “indeed there is a place for people to go one day and that is why the elders in the society always advise that it is always good to do whatever you have to do on time because tomorrow is never promised’.
“Nobody knows when he or she will leave this earth and join the ancestors. Although everyone is bound to die someday, some premature deaths are painful and cannot be overlooked”.
Fameye, also known as Peter Bozah, used his new song to preach about the sad transition from the physical world to the next.
Fameye has several other songs, including. ‘Long Life’,’ Make Am’, ‘Thank You’, ‘Believe’, ‘Praise’, ‘Ahwehwe’, ‘Menkwa’ and “Long Life.
