The draw for the 2021/22 FA Cup third round has taken place with some interesting fixtures to look out for as English teams battle to get their hands on one of the oldest trophies in football.
The fixtures released on Monday has the current holders, Leicester City paired with English Premier League side, Watford while Chelsea clash with non-league side Chesterfield.
Other interesting games include Liverpool vs Shrewsbury Town – a repeat of the 2019/20 fourth-round meeting between the pair – Tottenham vs Morecambe, Newcastle United vs Cambridge United and Swindon Town vs Manchester City.
Manchester United will welcome Aston Villa to Old Trafford, a match which will see Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard travel to Old Trafford for the first time as a manager.
The games will be played the weekend of January 8, 2022.
