A Kia truck with registration number GG 2541-15 has collided with a faulty cargo car at the Gomoa Dominase junction on the Kasoa-Cape Coast highway, severing one leg of the driver and injuring the mate of the Kia Truck.
The faulty cargo car was parked in the middle of the road and loaded with orange juice.
According to eyewitnesses, the Kia truck attempted to move past the faulty car but instead crashed into it.
The truck reportedly somersaulted, causing the leg of the driver to sever off his body and the mate seriously injured.
All roads leading to the scene have been blocked while the injured victims have been rushed to Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for treatment.
Motor accidents are rampant in Ghana.
