President Mahama’s X account has been restored after being hacked to promote a suspicious cryptocurrency called “Solana Africa”.
The account was compromised on March 17, 2025, but thankfully, the President’s team worked with X’s support team to regain control of the account.
The President confirmed the restoration himself on X, expressing gratitude for the public’s concern and offering to assist.
The Cyber Security Authority (CSA) is currently investigating the breach and collaborating with X’s security team to prevent future incidents.
