Cameroonian import, George Mfegue will miss Asante Kotoko’s league fixture against Eleven Wonders, Kumasi-based Akoma FM has reported.
In the matchday 21 games, league leaders Kotoko will play host to Techiman based team at the Ohene Ameyaw Park on Monday.
According to the reports, the skillful winger sustained a knock at training in the course of the week, and till now hasn’t recovered for their next game.
Mfegue is expected to be out for weeks due to the extent of the injury.
This will serve as a huge blow for coach Prosper Narteh following his exploits and great ability to take on defenders but is most likely he will be replaced by Dickson Afoakwa
The Porcupine Warriors leads the Ghana Premier League table with 44 points after 20 matches.
