Black Stars coach Otto Addo is set to submit his squad for the 2022 World Cup playoff against Nigeria on Thursday.
The newly-appointed coach and his technical team members have decided on the players needed for the tough tie, according to report.
He will submit it to the Black Stars management committee for approval before an announcement is made.
The squad is expected to be dominated by players who took part in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations despite the Black Stars’ woeful campaign.
However, captain of the side , Andre Ayew will be out of the squad due suspension after picking a straight red card in the Black Stars’ last game at the Afcon against Comoros.
Black Stars hope for an impressive performance to overcome the Super Eagles who are also looking to qualify for the World Cup to appease Nigerians after failing to go all the way in Cameroon.
The first leg scheduled for March 25 will be played at the Cape Coast with a return leg to be played in Abuja in four days later.
