Black Princesses’ second group will arrive in camp on Sunday

The Black Princesses, Ghana’s national under-20 women’s football team, are set to continue their preparations for the upcoming WAFU Zone B Women’s U-20 Cup of Nations.

The team’s second batch of players is scheduled to report to Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram on Sunday. With the tournament just a few weeks away, the team’s coaching staff and players are working tirelessly to ensure they are fully prepared for the challenges ahead.

In the inaugural WAFU Zone B Women’s U-20 Cup of Nations, Ghana is anticipated to field a strong team to take on Nigeria, Niger, Benin, Ivory Coast, Togo, and Burkina Faso.

Head Coach Yusif Basigi will supervise the training sessions alongside his assistants at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram.

The inaugural WAFU Zone B Women’s U-20 Cup of Nations tournament will take place in Kumasi from Saturday, May 20 to Sunday, June 4, 2023.
