Asante Kotoko captain Abdul Ganiyu Ishmael is hopeful of his side’s chances of making a huge impact in Africa next season.
The Porcupine Warriors will represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League next season after emerging as winners in the domestic top-flight.
Speaking to Angel FM, Ganiyu indicated his outfit can make an impact should the team get the needed support from the fans.
“I will plead with the fans to be behind us always, we made the group stage under CK Akonnor and I believe we can even go higher if we stay together as a team,” he said.
Asante Kotoko will be crowned champions of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League on Sunday at the Baba Yara stadium.
