Swedish striker Alexander Isak has officially joined Liverpool for an English Premier League record fee of 125 million Pounds from Newcastle United.

Isak’s six-year deal with the Reds could rise to a fee of 130 million pounds should he meet certain clauses in the contract that was finalized in the final hours of the main transfer window that closed on Monday, September 1.

The former Borussia Dortmund and Real Sociedad player had a brilliant campaign in the 2024-2025 season, helping Newcastle United win the Carabao Cup by beating Liverpool 2-1.
