Astute football administrator Albert Yahaya Commey has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive and Sporting Director for Ghana Premier League side, Ashantigold, ahead of the upcoming 2021/22 football season.
The appointment comes after Commey resigned from his post as CEO of Techiman-based Eleven Wonders.
He joined Eleven Wonders from Dormaa-based side Aduana Stars after a seven-year stay with the club.
According to Kumasi-based Ashh FM, Albert Commey will assist Emmanuel Frimpong who is currently the Chief Executive of the Obuasi-based club.
He will also serve as the Sporting Director of the club following the dismissal of Nana Kwesi Darlington.
The Miners were runner ups of the 2020/21 MTN FA Cup after losing on penalties to Accra Hearts of Oak.
