The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) has refuted allegations aimed at tarnishing the reputation of the bank and its Deputy Managing Director, Eno Ofori-Atta.
According to the bank, the public should disregard all false claims regarding the termination of employment contracts of some staff members.
It described the allegations as false and defamatory.
In a statement, the management of ADB stated that all decisions at the bank are guided by laws and policies.
It continued by stating that Mrs. Ofori-Atta has worked with the highest standard of professionalism since joining ADB.
“She has consistently upheld the principles of integrity and diligence, which are central to the bank’s operations,” parts of a statement released by the bank elaborated.
The bank further threatened legal action against individuals peddling the false claims.
“The bank will not hesitate to pursue legal action against individuals or entities propagating these falsehoods,” the statement concluded.

The bank further assured stakeholders of its resolve to drive economic growth through agriculture and other developmental initiatives.
“ADB remains focused on its core mission and will not allow baseless accusations to distract from its goals.”
