Andrew Clocanas, the Executive Chairman of Constructora OAS Ghana Ltd. overseeing the construction of the controversial Saglemi Affordable Housing project, is reportedly dead.
Andrew is reported to have died at his airport residential home.
The cause of his death is unclear, but sources say he might have died as a result of a heart attack.
His body has been deposited at the Lashibi Funeral Home.

“Police officers have been to the residence, and they have started talking to people, so let’s wait for the outcome,” the source added.
Mr Clocanas, before his demise, was standing trial over the Saglemi Affordable Housing Project.
Other people on trial with him are Dr Kwaku Agyeman-Mensah, also a former Minister of Water Resources, Works and Housing, Alhaji Ziblim Yakubu, a former Chief Director of the ministry, Nouvi Tettey Angelo, Chief Executive Officer and owner of Ridge Management Solutions Ghana Limited.
They are facing 70 charges. They are said to have willfully caused financial loss to the state over the $200 million approved for the project.
They have all pleaded not guilty and have been granted bail.
