A 29-year-old man identified as Robert Agbesi Wayome has been found dead on a crossbar in his room at Bibiani in the Western North Region.
The deceased, Robert Agbesi Wayome, is reported to have hung himself on a crossbar inside his chamber.
The reason for the fatal decision of the 29-year-old is yet to be established.
According to the mother of the deceased, Ama Oparebia, she went for prayers a day before so she could not wake up early.
However, she decided to check up on her son after he was not sighted during his waking time, only to find him hanging dead.
The body has been picked up by the Bibiani Police Command and deposited at the Bibiani Government Hospital morgue while further investigations commence.
Also, some residents gave positive testimonies about the deceased for which they say they are yet to come to terms with his death.
This comes on the heels of another suicide case at Ajoa, a community in the Ahanta West Municipality of the Western Region.
In that one, an unidentified woman hanged her son before hanging herself.
Their bodies were found in an uncompleted building in the early hours of Wednesday, January 18, 2023.
Eyewitnesses who discovered the bodies said they reported to work on the building only to discover the sad scene.
“We came to work in the building as laborers and saw the lifeless body of the lady and her son when we got there,” said Nana Yaw, an eyewitness.
“She could be in her early twenties whilst her son would be around four years. We don’t know where they come from, and we don’t know any of their family members. They are still there on the ropes,” said the eye-witness to the scene.
