Egypt’s national football team, under the guidance of coach Rui Vitoria, has officially declared their 27-man squad for the much-anticipated tournament set to unfold in Cote D’Ivoire in mid-January.

Vitoria, who previously disclosed a formidable 55-man preliminary squad earlier this month, made the final cuts that have stirred both excitement and raised eyebrows among football enthusiasts. The list boasts a blend of seasoned talent and fresh faces, underlining Egypt’s determination to clinch an unprecedented 8th continental crown.

Among the notable exclusions are Al Ahly’s Yasser Ibrahim and Hussein El-Shahat, leaving fans speculating about the strategic choices shaping Egypt’s quest for glory. Meanwhile, the inclusion of Pyramids’ trio — Osama Galal, Ali Gabr, and Ahmed Samy — adds an intriguing dynamic to the squad, injecting fresh energy into the team’s pursuit of victory.
