Ghanaian giants, Hearts of Oak are in danger of suffering relegation from the Ghana Premier League at the end of the 2023/24 football season.

In a game played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Hearts of Oak could not impress and lost 2-0 to the Porcupine Warriors at the end of the 90 minutes.
After that defeat, Hearts of Oak are now 14th on the Ghana Premier League standings.

With nine wins, 11 draws, and 11 defeats, Hearts of Oak have 38 points from 31 matches.
The team is just two points away from the relegation zone and could drop into the red zone in case of a defeat in their next game.
As stressed by head coach Aboubakar Outtara, Hearts of Oak are in dire need of points to avoid relegation.
In the team’s next match, Hearts of Oak will host Nations FC at the Accra Sports Stadium.
That game will be played on Friday, May 31.
