The Finance Minister-designate, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, has appeared before Parliament’s Appointments Committee for his vetting.
The Appointments Committee in charge of the vetting is chaired by the First Deputy Speaker, Bernard Ahiafor, and Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, as Vice Chairperson.
Other key personalities on the committee include Alexander Afenyo-Markin, the Minority Leader, as the Ranking Member, and Patricia Appiagyei as the Deputy Ranking Member.
The committee is also expected to vet John Abdulai Jinapor, Minister-designate for Energy, and Dr. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, Attorney General and Minister for Justice-designate, today, January 13, 2025.
