Two injured in motorbike and trotro collision at Ngleshie Amanfro

Two individuals riding a motorbike were injured in a collision with a mini-bus (trotro) at the Official Town Bus Stop in Ngleshie Amanfro, along the Kasoa–Malam Highway.

The incident occurred during a busy traffic period when the motorbike rider attempted to manoeuvre through moving vehicles.

The trotro, bearing registration number AW 7559-13, reportedly failed to notice the motorbike in time and struck it, causing both riders to fall onto the road.

Bystanders quickly responded, helping the injured and calling for medical assistance. The victims were transported to the Ngleshie Amanfro Polyclinic for treatment.

Their condition remains unconfirmed, but they were said to be conscious when help arrived.

Police arrived at the scene shortly after the crash and took the trotro driver into custody. Investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the accident and assess any potential traffic violations.

The Kasoa–Malam Highway is a known hotspot for traffic congestion and frequent accidents, particularly around intersections like the Official Town Bus Stop.

Residents have expressed ongoing concerns about road safety and the need for improved traffic regulation in the area.
