Tragic accident claims life of teacher at Assin Dansame

What started as an ordinary Monday morning turned into a heartbreaking tragedy when a fatal road accident claimed the life of 34-year-old teacher Michael Brobbey.

Mr. Brobbey, a dedicated educator at Assin Breman near Assin Kushia in the Assin North District, was on his way to school when disaster struck around 7:30 a.m.

Eyewitnesses say he was riding his motorcycle from Assin Breku when an oncoming vehicle attempted a risky overtaking manoeuvre.

In a desperate bid to avoid a head-on collision, Brobbey veered onto the pedestrian lane.

However, tragedy struck when a KIA vehicle, bearing registration number GF-4723-22, crashed into him from behind, killing him instantly.

The Assin North police were swiftly alerted and arrived at the accident spot to transport Brobbey’s body to the mortuary.

Meanwhile, the driver of the KIA vehicle has been taken into custody to assist with investigations.

The accident scene has since been cleared, restoring normal traffic flow, but the void left behind by Brobbey’s passing lingers heavily in the hearts of those who knew him.

Tributes have been pouring in from the people of Assin Breku, who affectionately refer to him as “Kobii”.
