The Central Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Robert Kutin Junior, has reportedly died.

Information gathered indicates that he was pronounced dead around 10:00 pm on Sunday, December 22, 2024, in Accra, after battling an undisclosed illness for seven months.

According to the Central Regional Communications Officer of the NPP, Isaac Mensah, also known as Mr. Blankon, Mr. Kutin’s health issues had kept him out of the 2024 election campaign.

Despite his health challenges, Mr. Kutin retained his position as Central Regional Chairman in 2022, defeating Joseph Kobina Essibu.
