President John Dramani Mahama has urged Ghanaians to rally behind the Reset Agenda, emphasizing that collective action is essential for reviving the economy and ensuring long-term growth.

Speaking at the launch of the National Economic Dialogue on Monday, March 3, 2025, President Mahama underscored the event’s purpose, not just to analyze economic challenges but to develop concrete solutions that will reshape Ghana’s financial future.

Framing the Reset Agenda as more than just a government policy, he described it as a national call to action aimed at rebuilding an economy that benefits all Ghanaians.

“We are not here to recount our struggles, nor are we here to resign ourselves to economic stagnation. We are here to seek solutions that will put us on a path of growth and ensure we build an economy that works for every Ghanaian,” he declared.

President Mahama stressed the urgency of the situation, calling on all stakeholders to unite in addressing Ghana’s economic difficulties.

“This is not just another policy discussion—it is an urgent call to action. A crucial moment for us, as stakeholders, to confront and resolve the challenges before us,” he added.

The National Economic Dialogue is expected to serve as a platform for government officials, economists, business leaders, and industry experts to propose actionable measures for resetting Ghana’s economy and fostering sustainable prosperity.
