A violent clash over a woman at Mpasatia in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region has left one man dead.
According to residents, the deceased, believed to be the woman’s main boyfriend, rushed to her house after receiving information that another man was with her.
A confrontation began between the two men, which quickly escalated into a physical fight.
The victim, who was said to have rented the room for the woman, collapsed during the struggle and died shortly after.
What has stunned many is the account that when the woman was asked to help her boyfriend after he collapsed, she allegedly said she did not care if he died.
Her response has deepened the outrage within the community, as residents question how a relationship dispute could end in such a tragic manner.
The suspect, identified only as Jeff and believed to be in his mid-thirties, fled the scene after the fight.
Police are currently searching for him as investigations into the incident continue.
